Dan, we want to thank you for the progress you made with our 2 year old Quarter Horse filly, Chica Tejon. You took Chica's training to a new level, as a very young horse, making her think and developing her confidence in herself and in her rider.  Chica has an energetic but quiet and willing nature, and you maintained that even through your strenuous and challenging process.

I would also like to commend you on your ability to read not only the needs of the horse, but also the needs of the rider to produce a real team between the owner and their horse. You demonstrated your ability to work with humans as well as our equine friends by challenging me to improve on old riding habits and learn new techniques, all with great patience and a tremendous sense of humor.

We recently used Chica as our demonstration horse for a ranch horse obstacle course competition that our company, Trailhead Productions, produced.

We thoroughly enjoyed the three day clinic and appreciate the graciousness of you and Kelley as our hosts. We hope to see you for more rides.
