Dear
Dan,
WOW!
Each time I work with my yearling filly, Rebby, I am amazed at what
a difference just one day of training with you made in her.
When I purchased Rebby I had been away from the horse world for
many years. But I had always
dreamed of buying a young horse and starting my relationship with her on a
clean slate. My 7 year old
daughter, Brooke, shares my love for horses and I thought this would be a
great project for both of us. Unfortunately
I had forgotten a lot of what I needed to know to make this relationship
work.
Rebby
was a little pushy when I picked her up and very mouthy…typical baby
behavior…but my affectionate nature was making it worse.
You taught me in one day how to get her attention in a snap and
your lessons have not failed me yet! You
got her to do things in a matter of about 30 minutes that I had been
trying to do without success for weeks.
I am always confident now in my actions and she responds like a
dream. We recently relocated
to a new barn and the transition was so easy.
I was expecting her to be hard to handle because of the new
atmosphere, but all I had to do was repeat your lessons and she calmed
right down. I am sure she
wanted to pay attention to all the new horses but she kept her focus on
me. Other boarders are very
impressed with Rebby’s calm nature and can’t believe that she is only
17 months old. I give all the
credit to you and wear my Dan Keen baseball cap with pride!
Thank
you Dan for sharing your gift with Rebby, Brooke and me.
We will definitely be back when it is time to saddle up!
