Apprenticeship Program

July 26th – July 29^th

The Apprenticeship Program is limited to only six (6) advanced level students. Each student will learn all aspects of running an equine business including grooming, tacking, starting colts, working with problem horses, ground work, cleaning stalls, barn maintenance and medical care. Each student is allowed to bring one (1) horse. Students must provide their own feed and hay. Shavings will be provided but extra shaving may be purchased on site. Students will stay on location at the Dan Keen Horsemanship Bunkhouse. All meals will be provided. Students may bring their favorite snacks and beverages.

 
Students will arrive Sunday evening, July 25th (anytime after 5:00 P.M.). Sunday evening will consist be set-up and orientation. The program will begin Monday morning at 7:00 A.M. and end Thursday, July 29th at 5:00 P.M.

A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 and the Complete Application Package are required with the reservation.
